Drug & Alcohol Treatment Activities for Men
Treat Alcoholism and Drug Addiction by Building Skills and Having Fun
The Landing is an intensive treatment center for men. Our twenty two years of experience has allowed us to perfect the balance between constructive recovery activities, physical exercise, and nutrition.
Every client will, of course, be individually assessed and since there is a two to one staff to client ratio, every client will have their own unique routine based on their physical condition and their progress in their recovery.
In order to maximize the benefits of a stay at The Landing, our staff
Men who arrive at The Landing have often lost themselves in their alcoholism and drug addiction. These men, who might seem to be hopeless addicts and alcoholics, will be called upon to maintain their area of the house in a constructive manner from day one of their stay. Day by day they will build self esteem through fun physical activities with the other members of the house. The social model nature of The Landing has men consistently building momentum in their recovery by "doing" and "experiencing" challenging and rewarding activities.
Some of the activities men will enjoy include:
- Kayaking
- Beach Volleyball
- Swimming
- Surfing
- Massage
- Daily visits to the gym
- Golf
- Hiking
- Ropes Challenge Course
- Kung-Fu
- Tai Chi
- Private chef provides healthy meals and snacks several times a day
The intensive support system that our trained staff is consistently implementing to benefit the psychological component of the recovery process includes:
- Individual Therapy
- Group Therapy Counseling Sessions - 5x per week
