Fellowship and Continuing Care

Our clients build supportive fellowships with the other recovering members of the house. Newfound positive behaviors are strengthened and reinforced through repetition while participating in fun outdoors activities .

Each client will be given a thorough plan for continuing care upon discharge and no matter where their recovery takes them next they will have a network of support to lean on.

We hope the alumni of The Landing will attend the weekly alumni meetings, numerous alumni reunions, and networking activities so we can see how their lives continue to evolve and improve.

We understand that men and women experience alcoholism and drug abuse differently. In fact, everyone is unique in their addiction and treatment needs. This is one reason why The Landing provides such a high staff to client ratio: to provide a treatment program that gives a recovering man the best possible chance to succeed.

The decision to come to The Landing is the beginning of a new life for our male clients. Our treatment facility's location, with a calming ocean backdrop, provides a healing setting for the clinical work that male client will participate in during his journey towards recovery.

Every moment of the client's stay is planned throughly, including plans for continuing care after a client's stay has ended. In between therapy and recovery activities there are plenty of fun, therapeutic physical activities that men at The Landing will enjoy participating in. By beginning their new life of sobriety with fun, physical activities our clients strengthen their newfound friendships. Some of these participatory activities include:

Clients live in a "real life" environment in beautiful Newport Beach and here they will participate in the great recovery community by attending some local 12 step meetings. Clients will build fellowship and get many tools to use toward the prevention of a relapse.
