As each man progresses through treatment at The Landing, he develops skills that enable him to live more and more independently while still successfully maintaining sobriety. To reflect and reinforce this increasing level of skill, the final phase of treatment at The Landing consists of treatment in our intensive outpatient program (IOP), and helps to solidify the gains he has made during previous stages of treatment.
One of the benefits of treatment at The Landing is that treatment is a continuous process. There are no gaps between the different phases of treatment, which allows clients to benefit from a continuous and stable treatment experience.
During Phase III IOP at The Landing, men will continue to benefit from interaction with and support from our caring, compassionate staff. Like in previous phases of treatment, clients will continue living at The Landing throughout their time in IOP programming.
Each morning, clients participate in meditation sessions, psychoeducational groups, process groups, and experiential therapies. They also meet with a therapist once per week and a certified substance abuse counselor one or more times per week. During the afternoon and early evening, clients engage in professional development and life skills implementation. They may receive job training, obtain part-time work, or spend time in other activities that can help them begin to transition into independent living. In the evening, clients return to The Landing for 12-step meetings and groups.
IOP at The Landing is designed to provide an ideal mix of support and independence. While clients continue benefitting from the structure and stability of groups and therapy at The Landing, they also begin venturing back out into the community and reestablishing their lives outside of treatment. At the end of the day, they then come back to The Landing to process their experiences and go to bed.
While many men enter Phase III IOP treatment after completing Phase I (residential) and Phase II (partial hospitalization) treatment at The Landing, we want men who have completed residential treatment elsewhere to also benefit from our world-class treatment. As a result, we offer The Landing II, a treatment program consisting of integrated PHP and IOP care. To be eligible for The Landing II, a man must have completed residential treatment at another treatment center before seeking care through The Landing II. Because of the tightly-integrated nature of our programming, the Landing II is not available for men who are only seeking freestanding PHP or IOP care.
At The Landing, our comprehensive treatment is designed to provide support and skills for real-world, life-long sobriety. By slowly transitioning men out of treatment through our Phase III programming, we can help each man safely develop independence at his own pace and in a way that builds his resilience against addiction. If you or a loved one is in need of comprehensive treatment for substance abuse and co-occurring mental health issues, look no further than the three-phase luxury treatment experience at The Landing.
